SNB-CG. 5. Develops innovations and proposes solutions to problems based on established methods.
SNB-CG. 7. Learn through initiative and self-interest throughout life.
SNB-CG. 8. Participate and collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
SNB-CG.9. Participate with a civic and ethical conscience in the life of your community, region, Mexico and the world.

Graduate profile:

The specific objectives of the EP are:

Develop in the student the technical, professional and/or research capabilities necessary to find software solutions, through planning, analysis and execution on various platforms; such as, parallel and distributed, considering complex techniques of intelligent systems in real time, data abstraction and representation, maintaining effective human interaction and interface designs;
Promote in the student the need to acquire and increase social skills and attitudes, which allows them to carry out their profession ethically, and
Promote technical capabilities and skills in the student, seeking a sustainable and people-centered environment that transforms the various sectors of society that depend on information technologies.
That the Computer Engineering graduate will be a citizen of the digital and automated society, capable of building, implementing and designing applications, services and methodologies under ethical principles based on the correct use of frontier technologies such as High Performance Computing, Financial Technology, Bioinformatics , Data Science, Human Computer Interface, Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing. You will focus on finding software solutions, through planning, analysis and execution on various platforms; such as, parallel and distributed, considering complex techniques of real-time intelligent systems, data abstraction and representation, maintaining effective human interaction and interface designs. You will put these skills at the service of society by seeking a sustainable, people-centered environment that transforms the various sectors of society that depend on information technologies.

The Computer Engineer is able to show evidence of the generic and professional skills acquired during their academic career, which are listed below:

Ability to develop and evaluate advanced analysis, data mining and machine learning techniques and predictive models on massive data (Big Data);
Capacity for the preparation, strategic planning, direction, coordination and technical and economic management of projects in all areas of Computer Engineering following quality and environmental criteria;
Ability to understand and apply the principles and techniques of quality management and technological innovation in organizations, and
Ability to integrate technologies and systems specific to Artificial Intelligence, on a general basis, and in broader and multidisciplinary contexts
Competencies by modules:

Bio-informatics Module: analyzes, understands, abstracts and models specific problems of biomedicine, in terms of data, information and knowledge of the components;
Quantum Computing Module: be able to profitably join a fundamental or applied research project involving quantum aspects and solve problems in multidisciplinary environments;
