The Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías has a community of more than 1,200 academics, including full-time professors, subject professors and academic technicians. Of these, almost 45% are full-time professors, approximately 50% are subject and part-time professors; the rest are academic technicians.
One of the strengths of this university center is precisely this academic staff, which by its nature is attached to the corresponding departments. It is an active, proactive community, with a continuous effort to improve its educational practice. More than 30% of the full-time professors are members of the SNI, more than 60% are professors recognized with PRODEP profile, which are indicators of their quality and academic productivity.
